AUTHENTIC SELF CARE WITH ROSE H

Camp is such an amazing act of self care! Dedicate time for self-reflection by diving even deeper with Rose. Self care requires intentional and repetitive action, with the purpose of nurturing your own wellbeing. Self care asks you to place intention deep inside a space you only dare to dream by exploring your own heart's longing.  During this class, you'll learn easy techniques to bring balance back to your body. You'll journey through a powerful breathwork practice, explore mindset and guided imagery, and immerse yourself in physical embodiment and mindful movement in a supportive, loving environment.  

CHARCOAL DRAWING WITH LYN

During this class, you will learn techniques for using charcoal as a drawing medium. Sketching, blending, light and shadow will be explored, as well as the use of drawing tools and supplies. You can expect to learn some basic drawing techniques and get pointers for improving accuracy and composition. Art supplies will be provided. Already have some? Bring your favorites!  

CURIOUS ABOUT CANNABIS WITH ROSE H

Whether you’re a seasoned toker or completely new on the scene, Rose welcomes you and your curiosity! Missouri is a Medical Marijuana state, which means this plant medicine may be available to support your health and wellness needs. We’ll chat about the Endocannabinoid system already inside your body, CBD, THC, ingestion methods, getting an ID and everything in between. All questions are encouraged.  *No plant material included, this is an information-sharing & educational event only* 

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WITH CINDY

Learn to take full advantage of the camera on your phone and step up your photography game! In the first session of this workshop, we will start by getting to know the camera, how to use the in-house camera app and other camera app options. Then we will follow up with basic photography 101 topics such as lighting and framing. This is where your homework comes in because Cindy will then you send you off into camp to take photographs! Lots and lots of photographs! For the second session, we will talk about editing and various editing tools. Then we will compile our photos into a slide show to share with the other campers on Saturday night. Whether it is taking pictures to promote your business or just taking some nice photos of your family, this workshop will give you some valuable skills and boost your photo taking confidence.

 

EXPRESSIVE ARTS WITH HELENA

An invitation to fully and honestly engage in soulful expression and listen deeply to the powerful intelligence of the body.  We will delve into authentic movement and dance, art making, poetry, music, theatre and play to explore emerging themes and engage in a creative dialogue with our stories.  What are our bodies telling us?  Who are we?  What’s our hearts desire?  Together we will create, share, witness and honor the creative spirit in each of us.  Art supplies will be provided but please feel free to bring your own and a journal or notebook.​  

FULL PRACTICE VINYASA WITH KELLY

Join Kelly for a super-potent, full-spectrum Vinyasa yoga class.  With the luxury of 90 minutes, we will take our time to meditate and center, delve into a solid pranayama practice, warm up slowly, heat up with a fun, creative sequence, cool down with cozy deep stretch postures, and then rest deeply in savasana.  This challenging class is open to all-levels, as Kelly will offer modifications and variations for a gentler practice.  Bring your yoga mat and open heart.  You're going to leave feeling amazing.  

NATURE WALKS & RIVER ROCKS WITH BROOKE

Come wander forest trails with Brooke and discover the natural world of Mound Ridge. You’ll learn about the trees overhead, the life flourishing under their branches, and the geology of the Ozark mountains beneath your feet. On the banks of the Meramec, we’ll hunt for quartz crystals and agates and ancient fossils among the river rocks. 

 

This session is all about exploring nature and discovering the subtleties that make our world so beautiful. Grab some comfy trail shoes and join the adventure!  

WEAVING MEMORIES WITH ABI

Abi is owner and creatrix of Somewhere Between Art where she shares her beautiful creations.  She's a fiber artist who specializes in weaving memories with intention and adding just a little bit of knot magic to each piece she creates.

This class comes with a little bit of homework before attending. Prior to class, Abi asks you to take a walk around camp. Take a walk around and focus on your surroundings.  Feel the sun on your skin.  Take a deep breath.  And then search for things that will remind you of being at this amazing place (you'll want them 6 inches or less).  Look for sticks, grass, flowers rocks, anything that reminds you of how you feel being at Camp Wildling. During class, you will be given a miniature loom board, miniature tools, and supplies to fill in the gaps between your memories that you bring to class.  If you forget, don't worry, Abi will have plenty of fiber to play with. You will learn basic weaving skills, albeit in a micro fashion, and learn just a little bit about setting intentions while you practice your very own version of knot magic. She can't wait to see what beauty you will create together!  

WRIST MALAS WITH JAIME

Please join Jaime for a creative and meditative class making wrist malas.  A wrist mala is a string of beads used for counting mantras, sacred words, sounds or phrases sometimes thought of as numinous sound.  Each bead represents the number of times you recite a mantra.  You can either use a full 108-bead mala one time around or a use a wrist mala multiple times around to achieve the 108 count. Some people wear wrist malas every day because they feel it's a beautiful reminder of their practice.  Jaime will provide all the supplies which includes some gorgeous semi-precious stones.  

YOGA NIDRA WITH KELLY

Yoga Nidra is a portal into unfettered consciousness, to the realms that lie between sleeping and waking. Through the use of body sensing, breath awareness, guided imagery and other practices, Kelly will masterfully guide you on a healing meditation journey through the deepest layers of your being.

 

To get the most out of this illuminating experience, it's vital for you to be as relaxed as possible on every level.  Keep in mind that this session will be spent lying down without movement, so you may want extra padding under your hips and legs.  If you've been dealing with congestion, you might want some extra pillows to prop up your back and head. We will have some bolsters, blocks, blankets, and yoga mats on hand.  Please bring your own props if you have them.  Dress in your coziest clothes as you're transported to the dreamiest frequency imaginable.

BEING MAGIC WITH KAMION

Magic is the affectation of reality via desire and will.  The discernment of will and desire begins with the energetic resonance of all bodies of our being.  Kamion will share the cosmology he works with to manifest magic on a daily basis. The workshop will conclude with a daily energy routine that brings harmony across all aspects of Self utilizing Taoist, Vedic and other spiritual traditions.  

BREATHWORK: THE ESCAPE WITH MELISSA

Profoundly powerful. Deeply insightful. Beautifully blissful.

The music starts, you begin breathing, one conscious connected breath after another as Melissa guides you from your everyday, ordinary world of busyness, stress, and overwhelm into an extraordinarily deep altered state of consciousness where you will tap into the superpowers of your breath.

You will say “Holy Shit! what was that!?”

 

This is an entirely new level of using your breath to access insights, remove subconscious programming, knock out limiting beliefs, and connect to something beyond you.

DISCOVERING THE DIVINE WITH DANIEL

Please join Daniel for a deep dive into your perceptions of the Divine, focusing on the feminine, masculine, and the marriage of the two.  During our time together we will explore our similarities, differences, misconceptions regarding gender roles, and our relationships.  You can expect a mixture of movement, group sharing, and journaling.  

FRUIT OF THE TREE WITH KAMION

The Tree of Life is found in multiple traditions and times.  The implications of its myth pervades the foundation of our societies.  The workshop will review Hermetic Qabalah and how its cosmology can aid in understanding the world around us and engaging Life to it fullest.  Kamion will share his personal work towards Tikkun, the supreme healing of Creation, so all may eat from the Fruit of the Tree. 

HATHA HOMECOMING WITH ROSE C

Gentle, flowing movements and self-massage offer a sense of profound relaxation and connection to yourself, as stress and tension melt away. We will explore the five elements of Hatha Yoga: Movement, Stillness, Breath, Presence, and Integration. This class is beginner-focused, all-levels friendly, and no yoga experience is necessary. Options are offered throughout, so you may customize the practice and level of challenge to the body, mind, and heart you occupy in the present moment. Rose invites you to come home to your body in this deeply nourishing practice of awareness and intention.  

HIKING, YOGA AND JOURNALING WITH PAM

Join Pam for a special class where you spend time getting to know the wilderness at camp, practice a yoga class

that weaves together the smooth lines and thoughtful movements of Hatha yoga with the immersive, depth charge of moving meditation, and spend some time writing about your experiences.  Using the river and the forest as your inspiration, this class asks you to open up and let yourself be vulnerable -- releasing destructive, unnecessary energy patterns so that you leave camp feeling empowered and genuinely at ease with yourself.  

MANDALAS WITH KELLY AND ABI

Join Kelly and Abi to create a beautiful, ephemeral art installation using the natural materials found in the forest and near the river at camp. This form of land art involves creating detailed patterns, textures, and shapes formed using multiples of one kind of material. We will start the session by collecting twigs, rocks, and leaves and will then arrange them in mandala-like spirals and concentric circles. On Saturday night, we will illuminate our co-created masterpiece where it will play an important role during our special evening activity.  We will photograph our finished work to document it before nature once again takes hold of our materials.

SMALL GROUP MEDIUM READING WITH KATIE

Join Katie for a small group medium reading where she connects with the spirts of loved ones who have crossed over to the other side.  In a medium reading, you get in contact with your loved ones who have passed.  Loved ones come through and can help provide guidance in your life. You may get exactly who you expected or you may be surprised at who comes through! Katie cannot make anyone show up, but you will always hear from who you are supposed to hear from. Just come in with an open heart and open mind.  Please make sure you are emotionally ready for an experience of this nature and that it will enhance your camp experience.  Katie is also offering private one-on-one sessions.  See the Private Sessions for more information.  These classes are limited to just 8 guests per session.  Depending on interest, we may hold a lottery for class entry.
